Making the beds ready with hand-ironed linen is part of that. The smooth linen is just so wonderful to cuddle in!
And what’s in the linen then? Invested in these wonderful duvets and pillows ❤
They are warm, soft and have very smooth, almost like polished surface.
They felt so wonderful when I took them out of their baggages!
Just can’t wait to set these ready for next guests ❤
Leaves are falling big time. Bright summer light is being replaced by soft autumn light.
Time to make autumn preparations also in Lillan. The bigger bedroom downstairs also gets its winter carpet on the floor.
The memento of previous autumns on the wall is now very seasonal.
The colours coming from outside are just amazing. Soft and warm despite the cold wind the sea brings.
Time for the hygge Lillan provides. Fireplace brings something very primitive feelings of safety. To cuddle up in warm blanket on the livingroom sofa and just to listen the little cracking and humming of the fire.
Autumn is definitely one of my favourite seasons ❤ How about yours?

Charming bedroom. Light, lovely feeling. A comfy double bed (140x200cm), a small night table (an old apple box with wheels) and roomy wardrobes. My favourite room ❤

Carpets to the bedroom floors as well. Soft woolen quilts. Dalsbruk is so beautiful at autumn. And Lillan so cozy. Lovely to nest on a sofa, maybe listen to good music and watch flames in the fireplace. Or to take part to the action on the island: Ancient Signal Fires’ Night, Medieval Market, Apple Fest, just to mention few. Book your stay at Lillan and enjoy – also at autumn!
