Did you know you can easily reach Lillan also by bus from Helsinki or Turku? The new timetables for bus routes have been published.
*update: even more bus lines for all keen and lovely Lillaneers available!
The bus stop is approximately 300 meters from Lillan. So, actually, you don’t need a car to visit Lillan!
And if you are not that keen to travel by bus, you can always come here by boat ❤

Oh boy, are we ready for summer ❤ The garden has started its amazing bloom again.
The wood is all piled up and drying to be packed in the wood shed at the end of the summer.
Let them now dry well there in the sun next to the shed ❤ (There was quite a lot work to get them there but it did feel good to see it done!)
Only few preparations left to do and then I can officially announce the summer period to have begun. So, ahoy summer, welcome!

We all heard of letter combination GDPR. General Data Protection Regulation is EU’s way of ensuring we value and protect the confidential information given for us.
I want to give information to people who are interested in Lillan ❤ That means sending occasional email (normally quarter yearly) to Lillanees and want-to-be ones. The emails sent are only about Lillan news, providing discounts and reminders and information about Lillan.
Those who have inquired about Lillan via email but could not for instance fit their schedule to match Lillan’s available periods or those who have ordered Lillan Newsletter get their own message.
Those who are already familiar with Lillan and have stayed as my beloved guests get a little different email. New duvets

I really want to pamper all Lillan guests ❤
Making the beds ready with hand-ironed linen is part of that. The smooth linen is just so wonderful to cuddle in!
And what’s in the linen then? Invested in these wonderful duvets and pillows ❤
They are warm, soft and have very smooth, almost like polished surface.
They felt so wonderful when I took them out of their baggages!
Just can’t wait to set these ready for next guests ❤
New Rocking Chair

You might remember this rocking chair from your visits to Lillan or from previous pictures. It was lovely, suited Lillan’s rustic feeling well and it was old. Very old. Over 100 years. And that is a lot for a rocking chair.
And then, few days before New Year I got a message from Lillan:
Huomenta, I sat on the rocking chair in the living room and suddenly the back legs broke. 😕 please feel free to come and look at it.
Me, of course very worried if guests were okay, was relieved with their next message:
I’m ok thanks for asking. Just a little shock at the time but we laughed about it after 😀
Well. Everything was Ok except the antique rocking chair. So. Hunt for the perfect new rocking chair for Lillan began. Quite a few questions around and all of a sudden it was there ❤
Sure, it has signs of age. But it suites wonderfully to Lillan and it is very sturdy.
The more I look at it, the more beauty I see in it❤️
So welcome, my dear rocker friends – Lillan is again equipped for you!

The Union promotes high standards of cottage rental and works to improve knowledge and skills of both parties, as well as supporting its members in all cottage rental related issues.
