Light Dining

The part of the livingroom with the dinner table could be a bit murky, especially during winter times. So I purchased a suitable floor lamp there.

Now you can have more light if you choose to. Or, just enjoy the chandelier and other lights according to your wishes ❤

The lamp suites quite beautifully to Lillan interior. And what’s best, it’s easy to move. So for those of you wonderful Lillaneers who have been missing to have a reading lamp by the sofa, here’s the one for you!


Just tug gently and you have even more light at Lillan ❤

New Rocking Chair

19.1.2018

You might remember this rocking chair from your visits to Lillan or from previous pictures. It was lovely, suited Lillan’s rustic feeling well and it was old. Very old. Over 100 years. And that is a lot for a rocking chair.

And then, few days before New Year I got a message from Lillan:

Huomenta, I sat on the rocking chair in the living room and suddenly the back legs broke. 😕 please feel free to come and look at it.

Me, of course very worried if guests were okay, was relieved with their next message:

I’m ok thanks for asking. Just a little shock at the time but we laughed about it after 😀

Well. Everything was Ok except the antique rocking chair. So. Hunt for the perfect new rocking chair for Lillan began. Quite a few questions around and all of a sudden it was there ❤

Sure, it has signs of age. But it suites wonderfully to Lillan and it is very sturdy.

The more I look at it, the more beauty I see in it❤️

So welcome, my dear rocker friends – Lillan is again equipped for you!

Lillan as Dollhouse and 3D

I just love modern age best parts. Here’s definitely one: now you can visit Lillan as you would be walking through it and even to take a dollhouse view to get a bigger picture.

A new set of firewood off to Lillan. Hand-made, sun dried, hand-picked from me to you. For those cozy fireplace evenings you to enjoy in Lillan. Wood bunches located in the woodshed (also hand-made by me) behind Lillan. 5€/bunch, please let me know how many bunches you used during your stay.

For those rainy days or slumber mornings, long evenings or just to sit back and relax by the fireside.

Did not manage to finish the book you were reading? Just take it with you. And, if you have some leftover holiday books you don’t want to carry around with you anymore but think someone else would enjoy to read, feel free to leave it to Lillan bookshelf ❤
