I really want to pamper all Lillan guests ❤
Making the beds ready with hand-ironed linen is part of that. The smooth linen is just so wonderful to cuddle in!
And what’s in the linen then? Invested in these wonderful duvets and pillows ❤
They are warm, soft and have very smooth, almost like polished surface.
They felt so wonderful when I took them out of their baggages!
Just can’t wait to set these ready for next guests ❤
You might remember this rocking chair from your visits to Lillan or from previous pictures. It was lovely, suited Lillan’s rustic feeling well and it was old. Very old. Over 100 years. And that is a lot for a rocking chair.
And then, few days before New Year I got a message from Lillan:
Huomenta, I sat on the rocking chair in the living room and suddenly the back legs broke. 😕 please feel free to come and look at it.
Me, of course very worried if guests were okay, was relieved with their next message:
I’m ok thanks for asking. Just a little shock at the time but we laughed about it after 😀
Well. Everything was Ok except the antique rocking chair. So. Hunt for the perfect new rocking chair for Lillan began. Quite a few questions around and all of a sudden it was there ❤
Sure, it has signs of age. But it suites wonderfully to Lillan and it is very sturdy.
The more I look at it, the more beauty I see in it❤️
So welcome, my dear rocker friends – Lillan is again equipped for you!
I always encourage Lillaneers to tell their ideas, wishes and ideas how to develope Lillan and its services even better.
My highest hope is that your stay at Lillan is pleasant. That you and your loved ones truly enjoy.

There have already been done a lot of changes and improvements according to the greetings I’ve got. Take the dining table, for instance. I made it from an old door to fit Lillan style but the idea to get a larger table came from a lovely Lillaneer.
Some of the wishes I can fulfill (almost) instantly, others take a bit more time. But rest assured, they are all taken into consideration and will come to my to do -list.

Easter is over and easter guests have left Lillan. But listen how wonderful feedback Lillan got:
“..meillä oli aivan ihanaa! Upea talo, ihana piha, kiva kylä. Harmillisen kylmää oli mutta sehän on pukeutumiskysymys. Olemme erittäin tyytyväisiä lomaan. ..ihana paikka ja haaveilen jo palaavani joku päivä ja suosittelen muillekin.”
Loosely translated: “we had just marvellous time! Amazing house, wonderful garden, nice village. Annoyingly cold but that’s only matter of proper clothing. We are very pleased with vacation. Lovely place and I’m already dreaming of return and I do recommend others as well.”
I’m so happy to get this kind of a feedback! It gives me sense of being on a right track since I want Lillan guests, Lillaneers, to really, wholeheartedly, enjoy their vacation at Lillan. And to return ❤
PS. The coldness mentioned was outside Lillan – there came snow even though at this time of year spring should already be quite warm. In Lillan they had nice, warm and cozy. Guests had even used fireplaces to indulge themselves.
Napkin holder now has an honor to hold greeting cards.

In a lovely evening sunshine they created quite a beautiful composition with the fresh flowers from Lillan garden❤️
At least I think the guests who arrived yesterday felt themselves welcome, they smiled a lot when they saw Lillan❤️
I always get some little welcome greeting for the guests. Usually some flowers (preferably from own garden) and some local specialities – or at least bought nearby. Just love to give some extra special to make guests feel theirselves as welcome as they are❤️
